Awarding the film 5 stars, Jolly Moel at Screen Critix calls it "a tremendous piece of filmmaking" and "a master class" on the complexities of suicidal ideation and prevention. Moel goes on to write that its co-stars, Katlin Leslie and Dan Parilis, each deliver "absolutely powerhouse performances... Their relationship feels so real that you actually forget you are watching a film."
