Two years ago today, LIFELINE premiered at the Brooklyn College Film Festival. Since then, it's won a couple of awards, played at a few festivals, and gotten some good reviews... But none of it compares to the messages we've received from those who've experienced suicide, who were reminded by our film that they are not alone, and that life is worth fighting for. We thank you for your love and support, and we are inspired everyday by your courage and strength.
IN DEVELOPMENT: A Fly on the 4th Wall will produce a new web series based on LIFELINE, the award-winning short film by L. Marcus Williams. Inspired by his own experiences, the series will take place at a suicide hotline, with each episode highlighting a specific mental health issue. "Our goal is to shine a light on suicide, to help destigmatize it," says Williams. "And we hope to remind our viewers that if you are in crisis, you are not alone. There is always someone who can help."
Funding will be provided in part by a grant from the National Board of Review. If you or anyone you know is thinking about suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
A Fly on the 4th Wall will be announcing its next film project very soon. Stay on the line...
In the meantime, check out our award-winning short film LIFELINE, now playing on Amazon Prime Video.
